1st Birthday Party

Yes, yes...Ruby turned one. Here are some photos of the party.

Nine and ten weeks

Now I am giggling and cooing all the time (and this keeps a permanent smile on Mamma and Dadda's faces). I have discovered my hands and feet belong to me! But I don't really know how to use them so can spend quite a long time looking at these cool body parts (and of course sticking them in my mouth). I love music and hanging out with my Vietnamese friends. I can sit up on my own if I am leaning against something and enjoy popping my weight up onto my feet if someone holds me. I weigh about 10 lbs. And I slept through the night for the first time.

Five weeks to 2 Months

We went back to the States to visit with family and friends. It was a fantastic trip...and little Ruby was an angel on her first voyage overseas. Hightlights included meeting my family, being there for Leo's birth, and perfecting my smile.

Five Weeks

Ho hum....sitting up is tough work (I am leaning against the pillow).

Four Weeks

One MONTH! Week four is pretty cruisey...I've become the expert snoozer, I reach for toys in a totally cute uncoordinated way, make the funniest faces and am pretty precious all around. I am also loosing that dark hair I was born with...see how much is already gone from the front of my head? Underneath seems to be coming in lighter brown or even red....surprises to come.

Three Weeks

Week three...we are settling into being at home and being a new little family. This is the week my new best friend Nam was born! Viet and Lihn had their baby on Friday.
